Date(s) - Wednesday, June 21
5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Coming up at ORA Gallery on June 21st is an opportunity to learn about Te Karanga and the Global Women’s Learning Exchange.
Kiwi-Sri Lankan-New Yorker, Anu Anandaraja, established Te Karanga in 2016 to offer global learning journeys to the public. Believing in the transformative power of connection with nature and indigenous cultures, Anu designs programs that immerse participants in the life of communities across the globe, catalyzing new awareness about our shared world, new understanding about our personal roles in global wellbeing, and new possibilities for lives of service and creativity.
Te Karanga’s new initiative, the Global Women’s Learning Exchange, will support indigenous women’s groups from around the world to meet, share knowledge and skills, build solidarity, and re-define what is possible for women and girls globally.
Come along for an evening of discussion and global connection!
