Date(s) - Wednesday, December 16 - Thursday, December 31
11:00 am - 7:00 pm
ORA Gallery, a one-of-a-kind gallery dedicated to the arts of New Zealand, is open in Downtown Manhattan until the end of December 2015. The gallery is the brainchild of Giarna Te Kanawa – a New Zealander who is determined to merge the love she has for her two homes (she has lived in New York for more than twenty years) into one creative space.
Open Wednesday-Sunday 11am-7 pm.
Among other artists, on view now is the work of David Trubridge, an environmentally responsible lighting and furniture designer whose work is reminiscent of the natural forms found in New Zealand. Future exhibitions at ORA include a photography series by Brian Sweeney and sculptures by Martin Horspool. ORA Gallery will be transformed into a holiday gift store for the month of November and December. Please see MOKOism for details of this new venture.
